Maintenance Janitorial

Job Description


Responsible for the general housekeeping and light maintenance of office and shop areas by performing the following duties:

Essential Functions

  • Keeping floors free of all foreign debris by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming

  • Gather and empty trash from offices and shop floor

  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications

  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks

  • Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow

    blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals

Required Skills, Education & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US

    Person" as defined by 22.C.F.R. is required

  • Typically sits for extended periods at a computer workstation

  • Must be able to see, hear, touch, feel, lift (up to 40 lbs.) and stand for short periods of


  • May access and work in the manufacturing plant

  • Will be required to stand for extended periods of time when conducting training, CIevents or work cell duties

  • While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles

  • The employee may be exposed to vibration

  • The employee is occasionally exposed to caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work

    environment is usually moderate

  • May be required to travel to other site locations during the work day

  • May be required to work OT/weekends to meet department and business demands

  • Work with safe manufacturing processes and understand that eyewear is mandatory in the manufacturing area

  • Knows that safety shoes are recommended in the manufacturing area

  • Knows the purpose and location of Material Safety Data Sheets

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
