Job Description

2nd Shift


Fabricate or repair fixtures with various machining equipment and hand tools, ensuring customer specifications are met.


Essential Functions



  • ? Fabricating and revising fixtures, jigs, gauges, hand applies and special tooling and components



  • ? Working with aluminum, steel, graphite materials etc.



  • ? Interpretation of blueprints, Model Based Definition information, sketches and


specifications



  • ? Review of engineering information, tool design drawings and customer requirements to


determine methods and sequence of operations to fabricate tools



  • ? Understanding of manufacture flow requirements including job traveler /manufacture


process plan requirements.



  • ? Use of hand tools, power tools, bridgeport machinery, inspection gages and various shop


equipment



  • ? Other tasks as assigned by management


Required Skills, Education & Experience



  • ? Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment experienced with conventional machines, jig and fixture manufacturing



  • ? This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22.C.F.R. is required

environment is usually moderate



  • ? May be required to travel to other site locations during the work day



  • ? May be required to work OT/weekends to meet department and business demands



  • ? Work with safe manufacturing processes and understand that eyewear is mandatory in the


manufacturing area



  • ? Knows that safety shoes are recommended in the manufacturing area



  • ? Knows the purpose and location of Material Safety Data Sheets

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.


The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects


up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Employment is contingent upon successfully passing an employee reference check, criminal background check, and drug screening.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
