FedEx Home Delviery Driver
FedEx Independent Contractor looking to fill a package delivery driver position.
The position is for employment with the Walker-Pauley Trucking Inc., & Pauley-Walker Transport, Inc. not FedEx. The main terminal is located in Lake Orion, MI. Positions looking to be filled will be in Port Huron, Yale, St. Clair, East China. Knowledge of these areas in not required but highly recommended. Experience with Telzon's or other type of PDA scanner's is also recommended. Please do not apply if you are not willing to drive to Saline, MI on a daily basis, and do not meet all of the below job requirements.

Job Requirements:
-Candidates must have at least 1 year driving experience in the last 36 month time period in a vehicle similar in size to the vehicles we use. Experience in 12 foot box truck or larger will qualify, cargo vans and pickup trucks will work as well. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to the experience requirements!!!
-Candidates must have a good driving record & be safety conscious.
-Must be able to pass a physical and pre-employment drug test. Random tests are also given during the course of employment.
-This is a physical job, and candidates must be able to move packages up to 150 pounds. This weight is very rare (most of our packages are between 1-20 pounds).
-Must be able to work a Monday-Friday or a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
-Must be willing to work long hours when required. Average day is 8 to 9, but may often work 12 hours.
-Must have minimum of a chauffeur's license.
