Summary:
Transmission teardown technician is responsible for transmission teardown and assisting with root cause failure analysis.
Typical Duties:
Technicians will prep transmission, place on transmission stands and drain all fluids. They will fill out detail reports on all transmission failure concerns. Technicians are responsible for the final disposition of parts following a review. This would include scrapping, shipping or making parts available to be carried from the facility or for later pick-up.
Work Environment:
-Warehouse
-Moderate dust
-Non air conditioned
-Moderate noise level
Working hours: 6:00AM -2:30PM
-HS diploma or equivalent
-Automotive technician diploma or equivalent work experience
-Previous automotive plant experience is desired.
-General computer skills including some Windows, internet and Lotus Notes.
-Able to multi-task and interact professionally with groups.
-Good verbal & written communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment
-Ability to assemble and disassemble transmission for analysis
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
