Candidates should be able to multi-task and prioritize.
Our receptionists are the first and last impression of our hospital, and will be responsible for:
Answering phone calls and routing them to the appropriate staff members as needed, scheduling medical and surgical appointments according to hospital standards, confirming correct contact information and entering in computerized charts, making request for medication refills on behalf of clients, readying prescription food for pick up by clients Greeting clients with a solution based mindset, checking in for appointments, taking accurate notes in medical charts regarding client conversations, reviewing invoices with clients, processing payments Obtaining previous records from other clinics, monitoring incoming communications through email and fax, returning voicemail, scanning and attaching documents to paperless medical charts.
