As a Clinical Service Representative (CSR/Medical Assistant) at our urgent care facility, your focus will be on providing the best care for all patients as part of our clinical support team.
You will be responsible for ensuring all policies, procedures, documentation and regulatory compliance are met and followed as part of the Core Values, goals and Mission of our company to provide the best care to those who seek our services.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES:
Prepare patient(s) for and assist with examination and/or treatment Perform triage and obtain vital signs Obtain and timely and accurately document patient history in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Collect and maintain all patient and business documents while always maintaining confidentiality Collect routine laboratory specimens including phlebotomy, urinalysis and/or oral swabs Administer medications and non-intravenous injections (intramuscular, subcutaneous and/or intradermal) Start an IV, place a catheter and perform splinting when needed/directed Perform various other clinical, aseptic and/or basic laboratory procedures Document within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventions timely and accurately Train and assist with our Occupational Medicine service line utilizing our current EMR system, drug screening, breath alcohol testing, audiograms, respiratory fit, pulmonary function testing and/or abiding by the systems and/or protocols set forth by WellStreet Understand and enforce standard health care regulatory requirements Responsible for quality assurance program for compliance with CLIA waived laboratory and patient result trackers Always ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance Perform office procedures including all general administrative duties; ability to operate all office medical equipment Required to travel to partner clinic regularly.
Travel to other clinics in the region is also required based on operational needs and staffing.
Travel outside of your region may also be required.
If required to travel outside of the partner clinics, mileage will be reimbursed.
Other duties as assigned EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT &
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program from an accredited institution or Possess a valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification or Have at least two (2) years of verifiable, clinical work experience in an Emergency Department, hospital or urgent care environment as a Medical Assistant, ED/ER Technician or Patient Care Technician One year of relevant healthcare experience; preferably urgent care or emergency department Ability to pass our internal clinical assessment We are willing to train new, stellar graduates Must be proficient in venipuncture and injections Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy and physiology PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Required to work three, 12 hours shifts each week with a weekend and holiday rotation Required to travel within region as necessary; outside of the region in times of critical business demands or staffing needs Required to sit, walk, reach with hands and arms throughout workday Finger dexterity and hand coordination required Occasionally required to lift moderate weight (20-40 pounds) Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust or focus Link to Apply:

As we are a medical facility providing care to our community members, masks are required at all times to be worn.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
